Drawn Privacy

Short version: Drawn keeps the readings you make with it so you can come back to them, sends the cards and your question to an AI model only when you ask for a reading, and never sells or shares your data beyond the services that run the app. The rest of this page is the detail the law asks for.

Who we are

Drawn is a tarot companion app for people who read with a physical deck, made by Qualia Labs Limited, trading as Qualia Studios. We are the data controller. Registered in England & Wales, company no. 17365986. Reach us at support@drawn.qualiastudios.com.

What we collect

• Account details. When you create an account we store your email address and, if you give one, a display name. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your email address and name with us to create the account.
• Saved readings. The spreads you complete: the cards and their positions, the question you asked, the notes you write, and the reading text, saved to your account so you can revisit them. Until you create an account they are saved to an anonymous account tied to your phone.
• How you use the app. Which screens and buttons you use, tied to your account, so we can see where people get stuck. This stays in our own database.

We do not collect your location, contacts, photos or device identifiers. There is no advertising, and no third-party analytics or tracking in the app.

Who handles it

• Supabase stores your account and readings. Readings are protected so that only your own account can read them.
• Anthropic writes the reading text. When you tap to see what a reading means, the cards, their positions, the deck you named, your question and any notes you have written are sent to Anthropic, whose model writes the reading. Anthropic does not use this content to train its models.
• Google Play and RevenueCat handle subscriptions. Google Play takes the payment; RevenueCat records whether your subscription is active against an app user id. We never see your card details.

Why we hold it

To run the app for you: to keep your readings, to write the reading text when you ask for it, and to manage your subscription. The lawful basis is performance of a contract, the app's terms with you, and legitimate interests for the usage events, which we use only to improve the app.

How long

For as long as you have an account. Deleting a reading removes it at once. Deleting your account removes your account, your readings and your usage events together.

What we don't do

• We never sell your data.
• We never share it beyond the services named above, each of which acts on our behalf.
• We don't send marketing emails.

Your choices

• Delete a reading at any time from the Readings tab.
• Sign out at any time from the Readings tab.

Deleting your data

In the app, open the Readings tab and choose "Delete account". This permanently removes your account, your profile, all saved readings and your usage events, at once. It cannot be undone. If you can no longer open the app, email support@drawn.qualiastudios.com from the address on the account and we will delete it for you within one month.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will action it within one month. If we get it wrong you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Children

Drawn is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of the page.
